Built to support the ISO 18000-7 protocol, the Savi SMR-650 Mobile Reader is an integrated mobile, low profile, lightweight reader used to commission, identify and configure Savi active RFID tags.

The SMR-650 augments Savi Fixed Reader coverage with the operational flexibility provided by portability. Using the SMR-650, a user can quickly and easily locate specific assets in areas with minimal or no infrastructure.
The SMR-650 is a key component of Savi’s active RFID solutions for real-time, end-to-end visibility of goods and critical assets moving through the supply chain.
Connect to Other Systems
The SMR-650 includes a USB interface connector and works in conjunction with a notebook, desktop PC or other devices with standard USB serial connectors. The SMR-650 can communicate with Savi tags to a distance of up to 150 feet (46 m).
