Holistic, Synergistic Design
Savi employs a holistic, synergistic approach to its security solutions – hardware and software are designed and optimized to work in concert. Savi Secure sensors are programmed using customer- defined specifications to meet unique business case needs and seamlessly integrated into Savi Visibility™, our proprietary in-transit visibility software. All Savi Secure Parent Long Life sensors have a battery life of up to 60 days at two-hour reporting intervals.*
Savi Secure Parent sensors may be used alone for anti-tampering or security purposes or used in conjunction with up to twenty-four Savi Secure Child sensors. Each Parent sensor wirelessly connects to all associated Child sensors and periodically receives and sends security and environmental status updates via GSM network to Savi Visibility.
Customizable Configurations and Alerts
Savi Secure sensors continuously monitor the shipment environment and instantaneously send alerts to Savi Visibility when exceptions to pre-defined threshold conditions occur—whether location, time, geozone, motion, stoppage or any other event combinations. Sensors are programmed to send updates at varying intervals depending on location to optimize battery life.
Flexibility of OTA Updates
Customers enjoy the flexibility of Savi’s OTA (over-the-air) sensor management capabilities. This enables Savi to change configuration parameters and update firmware on demand. Configurations can be programmed by Savi before shipment, at a customer’s facility, or over-the-air once the sensor is in the field.
