The patents covered under the UnwiredPlanet program include a range of air protocol, low frequency wakeup, sensor networking, and electronic container security patents, many of which are required to practice the DASH7 standard today.

Also, developers who sign up for the UnwiredPlanet licensing program before February 1, 2010 will receive special incentive discounts for the first 100,000 units sold under the program.
